LITHOGRAPHS & SCREEN PRINTS

The Netball player "Aiming High" is a screen print I did at Secondary school. A happy accident occurred which meant it didn't register correctly, but this gave the piece far more movement and energy! The lithograph was created using an 18th Century press with a stone slab for the print surface and a roller which had to be hand-cranked the entire length of the 3 metre machine. Again, registration was notoriously difficult.
